Love, Joy, Peace...
Our Mission
Glorifying Christ through our common sacramental life and the beauty of orthodox Anglican worship.
This is the heart of who we are. Everything we do exists to serve this mission.
Vision
Living Our Mission in Daily Life
We envision a parish centered on the worship of God and the sacramental life of the Church, where clergy and laity are formed together through prayer, discipline, beauty, and charity into faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
Rooted in the Daily Office, the Holy Eucharist, and the Church’s calendar of feasts and fasts, we seek to embody an Anglo-Catholic way of life that sanctifies ordinary time and daily work. Our worship is reverent and beautiful, our doctrine received with humility, and our lives intentionally shaped by the Gospel.
As a small but committed parish, we aim to live simply, love chastely, submit joyfully to Christ’s authority, and show compassion, especially to the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. We believe the renewal of the Church begins with ordered hearts, faithful worship, and lives oriented toward Christ.
Our goal is faithfulness, not growth for its own sake—trusting that God will draw others through the witness of a community that prays together, repents together, serves together, and glorifies Christ together.
Values
  • Sacraments: Christ feeds, forgives, and forms His people in Word and Sacrament.
  • Prayer: Common prayer shapes us more than private preference. The Daily Office is central.
  • Beauty: Reverent worship, music, art, and ritual draw us to God and teach the faith.
  • Truth: We humbly receive the apostolic faith through Scripture, Creeds, and Anglican tradition.
  • Community: Faith is lived together in worship, discipline, and care.
  • Compassion: Love of neighbor flows from love of God; mercy, hospitality, and service are essential.
  • Faithfulness: We value consistency, obedience, and holiness over novelty or success.
Meet Our Clergy

Fr. Gregory Raynes
Vicar
Born and raised in the Washington, DC metro area, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland and began his career in law enforcement in 2006. After earning a master’s degree in Applied Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, he ministered with the Assemblies of God in various local church roles, including youth ministry, and spent two years as a missionary on the Arabian Peninsula focused on church planting and cross-cultural studies.

In 2020, Fr. Gregory moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, where he resumed his law enforcement career with the Williamsburg Police Department, serving as the department’s chaplain and overseeing the chaplaincy program and peer support teams. He was ordained an Anglican deacon in 2024 and priest in 2025, and holds a graduate certificate in Anglican Ministry from Nashotah House Theological Seminary.

Fr. Gregory is married to his wife, Juliet, and they have their daughter, Amelia, and commend their daughter Adaline to the care of Christ. His interests include reading—especially history—baseball, music, and spending time outdoors, particularly at the beach. He and Juliet enjoy international travel and have visited more than twenty countries.

Fr. Drew Pociluyko
Associate Vicar

It is the Lord who calls us, and it is He who equips us. Father Drew first began to hear a call toward pastoral ministry during his undergraduate years at Virginia Tech, but he also knew he was to go into medicine. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015 from the University of Lynchburg and is a practicing physical therapist.

When he and his family moved to Williamsburg in 2020 for work, little did they know the way the Lord would lead them. Beginning at the end of 2020, the call toward pastoral ministry went from a gentle whisper to a clear command to “Go!” Acting in obedience, he and his family followed the Lord’s direction, and through a journey filled with trials of many kinds, he was ordained to the diaconate in 2024 and to the priesthood in 2025. He now serves as associate vicar of Good Shepherd Anglican—something neither he nor his family ever anticipated.

Father Drew is married to his wife, Karissa, and they have one daughter, Pippa. His interests include music, sports, reading medical journals, philosophy, running with his dog, Chloe, and spending time with his family.
